I felt just like a kid in a candy shop, or on Christmas Day when my Kimia package arrived on Tuesday morning. Everything about it, from the packaging, to the subtle irridescent bottles, to the luscious floral scent, everything is so appealing. I am just so pleased to be able to tryout this product, I'm giddy!
This is my third day using the two-part system and I absolutely love it. It has been a long time since I've had a salon facial, and my skin looks and feels as if this has happened. My face feels hydrated, has a healthy glow and is not at all greasy. I can't recall using a product that has achieved such amazing results from the first instance. My husband even tried it and liked it, and believe me, he's not one for any type of skincare, so that's saying something!
Kimia skincare is a recent development (2007) from the north of England (Lancashire) and is already a big hit with people like Victoria Beckham. Its been reviewed in the The Times as better than the outrageously expensive Creme de la Mer and although more costly than anything I tend to use, it does provide a natural alternative to high-end department store brands. The company strives to use the highest quality ingredients, it is 100% natural and paraben free.
The exquisite Facial Rejuvenating System is a two part system, one oil based, one water based.
"Kimia Exquisite All Natural Face Oil is based on a unique selection of the purest and most potent natural oils, sourced from around the world and carefully blended in a process developed through advanced research. While some of these ingredients combine to stimulate rejuvenation of the skin cells, others have cleansing, refining and nourishing properties. The Kimia oil-based serum is the dynamic element of the system that stimulates this active and continuous cell renewal.
These effects are activated and enhanced by Kimia Hydra-activator, a hydra-based formula that creates a synergistic effect when applied with the oil, increasing the absorption of the oil into the skin and accelerating the removal of dead cells, and leaving your skin velvety smooth with a non-greasy feel and look. "
At £69 a go (and Kimia is an ancient word for gold, according to the website) its more of an investment for average folks like me, but it does what it says it does, and does it beautifully. I would highly recommend it and I'm already thinking about how I'm going to support my developing addiction to it!!
